SCARE members have access to additional insurance offerings through Pacific Group Agencies / AMBA at discounted group rates. These options are available to SCARE members and their families.

Important notes:

  • These plans are not County-paid benefits — you pay for them yourself
  • You may select any plans you want (based on availability and enrollment timing)
  • Dental and vision are only offered during Open Enrollment

When can I enroll or change dental & vision?

  • Everything other than dental and vision can be enrolled in at any point
  • County benefits: follow County enrollment timing and rules
  • PGA dental & vision: only available at Open Enrollment
  • The PGA Open Enrollment period coincides with the County Annual Enrollment, so you can compare options during the same time window

Tip: If you miss the Open Enrollment window, you may need to wait until the next enrollment period to add or change dental/vision under PGA.
