PGA Group Insurance Options

SCARE members have access to additional insurance plans through Pacific Group Agencies / PGA at discounted group rates. These plans are optional and can help you add coverage beyond what is available through Sonoma County.

Important: PGA plans are not County-paid benefits. These are optional plans you may purchase yourself.

Eye exams, glasses, contacts

Legal Shield

Access to legal advice and services

ID Shield

Identity theft monitoring and recovery

Pet Insurance

Coverage for veterinary care

Travel Insurance

Protection for trips and emergencies

Accident Insurance

Supplemental coverage for injuries

Hearing Plans

Discounts on exams and devices

Other Coverages

Enrollment Rules - Please Read

When can I enroll?

Dental & Vision

  • Available only during Open Enrollment
  • Open Enrollment coincides with the County’s Annual Enrollment
  • This allows you to compare County options and PGA options at the same time

All Other PGA Plans

  • Most other plans (legal, ID theft, pet, travel, accident, hearing, etc.) can be enrolled in at any time during the year

Tip: If you miss Open Enrollment, you will need to wait until the next enrollment period to add dental or vision coverage through PGA.
